CLIENT Rolling Stone
Splashlight worked with Rolling Stone Art Director Joe Hutchinson
on a U2 cover published in October 2009. Rolling Stone supplied an
image of Bono and The Edge, shot against a white background by
photographer Sam Jones. Splashlight created neon typography and a
celestial background, retouched the band members to add a strong
magenta light source, and seamlessly integrated the images. This
is the third Rolling Stone cover for Splashlight’s creative team.
